Description: As economic crisis unfolds in tandem with public health crisis, higher education in the United States faces the prospect of significant austerity-induced hardship, and the University of California system provides no exception. However, the historic lack of transparency in UC budgeting processes gives rise to a healthy dose of skepticism when we are faced with vague administrative statements about gross quantities of "lost money." In this generative workshop, we will aim to amass a list of specific and targeted questions to serve as a starting point for ongoing interrogative research. Bring your ideas, resources, friends (at appropriate distance), and beverages of choice.
