poetics at the picket:
a black feminist teach-in

Led by Mariah Webber, Amoni Thompson-Jones, megan spencer, and J. Victorian (UCSB)

During this teach-in we will share poetry and writings by Black feminists. In this current moment, we want to offer each other space to reflect and reorient. Black feminists have long spoken to the many ongoing crises that affect our communities in ways shaped by politics of difference—and further intensified by the current pandemic. We hope to highlight how Black feminist thinkers offer powerful guidance on how to take care of ourselves, support our communities, and build solidarity with each other in times of struggle.
