Welcome to your strike! Training
Facilitator: Melanie Brazzell (UCSB)
This training is for everyone new to the UC COLA strike - or anyone wanting a refresher course. Parent, faculty, undergrad, or grad. Strike-curious, strike-adjacent, or striker.
This training will orient you to the strike’s history, strategy, and culture (including our core values). If you’re looking to get involved and don’t know where to start, join us! This training will plug you into local organizing structures so you can take concrete next steps to support the strike.
We’ll also have time in small breakout groups to build relationships with others in the movement, so you feel more solidarity on the digital picket line.
