TEACH IN: Stop University Land Grabs
Pension funds and university endowments are currently invested in millions of acres of farmland to expand mono-cropping plantations that displace Indigenous communities and people of color while destroying local and global ecosystems. University faculty, staff and students are unknowingly participating in this land theft and can take action to stop it. This teach-in is part of a global effort led by people fighting to protect their land from financial companies like TIAA and universities.
