Ekphrastic Poetry Workshop

Description: Doug Kearney leads: We're going to mutate exphrastic writing—that is using poetic descriptions of art—to create new work with up to three approaches. Over our two hours, we'll have a bit of a lecture, about 20–30 minutes to work on your own writing, and a little time for discussion and sharing. Please have in mind one artwork you love, one artwork you dislike, and one that haunts you. The art you pick can be from any medium.
