Early Modern Labor Movements - what can we learn?
Facilitator: Hannah Kagan-Moore
Description: I'll talk about some Early Modern European labor movements, and think about what we can learn even from workers' actions long past, including how to think with and beyond labor as a sole framework.
Our living conditions have, in fact, always been our working conditions; this is thrown into high relief by pandemic conditions, but we can also gain tactics and theory from understanding the long arc of worker power against bosses.
