Regents Study Group

This is the continuation of our ongoing Regents Study Group that began in Fall 2020, as part of the ongoing UC-wide Cops Off Campus organizing initiative. Since it is UCOP and the Regents who are ultimately responsible for making decisions around police/policing in the UC System, this group was gathered to think about strategies on how to reach the Regents as part of our campaign. Part of this includes learning about the history of the Regents and their entanglements with military/police/corporate interests, visioning alternatives to current UC governance structures (Reform the Regents!), and creating education modules/zines/performances, etc to engage the UC community.
